I was involved in filming these homeless/drug addict encampments in Olympia in January, 2020. Shortly after we recorded this, the City of Olympia “swept” these camps (it took them two years of people begging them to clean up this mess). Of course, many of these folk just started putting up their tents, tarps, garbage piles, and used needles elsewhere in the city – usually in greenspaces and along streams and parks.
