The State Committee meeting was held on January 28th, and your chair, state committeeman and state committeewoman attended to participate in reorganization, including elections.
The Washington State Republican Party issued the following statement on January 28:
“The Washington State Republican Party (WSRP), meeting this afternoon in Ellensburg, re-elected Susan Hutchison as Chairman for another two-year term through January 2019. ‘We will continue to build on our successes of the last four years with a great team at the state party,’ Chairman Hutchison said.
“The WSRP also adopted organizational by-laws, elected members to serve on its Executive Board for the next two years, and elected Grant Peterson as Vice Chairman. Peterson, from Stevens County, was Director of Emergency Management in the Reagan administration and is retired U.S. Air Force.”
